Cultural events
Once each quarter, Shippingklubben members and their guests are invited to a social event that includes a cultural performance. The evening usually begins with a meal at the club premises, after which we visit a popular cultural production at, for example, the theatre, concert hall or opera.
Our Programme 2013 will be announced in the beginning of December.
December we visited Den Norske Opera og Ballett to enjoy the ballet "The Nut Cracker", starting with a Christmas inspired dinner in Shippingklubben.
5th December we invited members and their guests to our traditional Christmas Dinner Buffet. The invitation was sent out medio November.
18th December our popular Christmas Lunch was held. Invitation was sent out in the beginning of December.
Annual events
March
In connection with the club's Annual General Meeting in the Spring, we invite members to a festive gourmet dinner with entertainment.
May
Shippingklubben has a long tradition of organising a large and very popular lunch event for our members and their guests on 17th May to celebrate Norway’s National Day.
November
Through our partnership with International Business Forum, members are also invited in November each year to Akershus Fortress for their Annual Dinner, which also includes interesting lectures.
December
Other events include our traditional Christmas Dinner and Christmas Lunch.
